- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point received the Award for Program Excellence in Health and Life Skills for its Healthy Futures for High Point Teens at the NC Area Council Leadership Conference.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point was recognized with National Marketing & Communications (MAC) Award at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in New Orleans. The award was a Bronze Level Award in Comprehensive Marketing Strategy.
- Markel Insurance recognized Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point with the prestigious Safety 1st designation for 2015. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point is one of the 4 Clubs nationwide to receive the designation. Each year, Markel’s Safety 1st program recognizes policyholders who have shown an exceptional commitment to the safety of their employees and customers. Camps and Clubs must meet stringent criteria to qualify for the Safety 1st designation. They must have a proven safety record, undergo formal assessments and inspections, and participate in continuing education and certification programs recognized for keeping safety a top priority.

- Latoya Bullock, VP of Operations was honored by the Boys & Girls Clubs Professional Association as the S.E. Professional of the Year at BGCA’s S.E. Regional Conference in Atlanta, GA in March.
- Board Member Jon Kemp was honored with the a BGCA National Medallion Award in April.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point was recognized with National Marketing & Communications (MAC) Awards at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in Chicago. The two Silver Awards were in Advertising and Interactive/Online Marketing; the two Bronze Awards were in Publicity/Media Relations and Publications; and Gold Award was in the Great Futures Start Here Campaign.

- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point received the Award for Program Excellence in Education and Career Development for its Teens With a Plan Program at the NC Area Council Leadership Conference.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point won four Gold and one Silver Marketing & Communications (MAC) Awards at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in San Francisco. The Silver Award was in the Comprehensive Marketing Strategy category; the four Gold Awards were in Publicity & Media Relations; Publications; the Blue Door Campaign; and the Great Futures Start Here Campaign.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point received the 2013 Southeast Regional Board Team of the Year Award at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Southeast Regional Leadership Conference in Daytona Beach, Florida. The organization’s Board of Directors was honored as the top board for a Boys & Girls Club in the Southeast Region which consist of 9 states and Washington, D.C.
- Latoya Bullock, VP of Operations was honored as United Way of Greater High Point’s Non-traditional Loaded Executive of the Year.

2013
- North Carolina Honor Award for Program Excellence in the area of Education & Career Development for the summer reading program, Reading Eggs.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point received the 2013 Board Team of the Year Award at the annual meeting of the NC Area Council of Boys & Girls Clubs. This award was received because of the organization’s national recognition of three gold awards in the area of marketing, adding five new members to its Board, attending national and local trainings, and the creation of two college scholarship funds to name a few. The organization’s Board of Directors was honored as the top board and was among 45 Boys & Girls Clubs organizations across the state who were eligible for the award.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point won three Gold Marketing & Communications (MAC) Awards at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in Orlando. The awards were for Comprehensive Marketing Strategy, Advertising & Publications, and the Great Futures Start Here Campaign.
- VP of Development, Holly Ferree, was honored with the 2013 Rotarian of the Year by the Triad Rotary Club.
