2019 Youth of the Year
We would like everyone to welcome Floyd Johnson, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater High Point’s new President & CEO! Floyd joined us officially on August 19th after a four year stint as CEO at the Boys & Girls Clubs in North Central North Carolina. He has over 33 years of nonprofit leadership experience, with over 25 years of Boys & Girls Clubs experience.
Floyd is a Club kid from Huntington, WV who eventually became the Unit Director at the Club he attended as a child. He has worked with Boys & Girls Clubs in Louisiana, Virginia and now North Carolina.
He is a graduate of Marshall University and enjoys watching college football and cheering for the LSU Tigers (Geaux Tigers!)
We are beyond excited to have Floyd with us!
Join our Club!
All school children ages 6-18 years old accepted. Yearly membership fee is $2.00. With this your child receives award winning programs from trained staff that includes homework assistance and fitness activities. A hot meal and a snack are provided daily, in a fun and safe environment. To sign up, see our list of clubs and stop by or call that Unit directly.
